20절, 아다는 야발을 낳았으니 그는 장막에 거주하며 가축을 치는 자의 조상이 되었고 And Adah bare Jabal; he was the father of the dweller in tents, and of cattle.

‘아다’가 신앙의 천적인 것들의 어머니라는 것은 그녀의 첫아들 야발을 ‘장막에 거주하며 가축을 치는 자의 조상’이라 하는 걸 보면 분명한데요, 여기 가축은 천적이며, 그 이유는 그것들은 사랑의 거룩한 것들과 거기서 나오는 선들을 상징하기 때문입니다. That by “Adah” is signified the mother of the celestial things of faith, is evident from her firstborn Jabal being called the “father of the dweller in tents, and of cattle,” which are celestial because they signify the holy things of love and the goods thence derived.
