제가 말씀(the Word)을 읽고 있을 때, 어떤 사람들이 천국 뜰 첫 번째 입구로 옮겨져 거기서 저와 대화를 나누었는데요, 그들은 말하길, 자기들은 그 안에 있는 무슨 단어나 글자는 전혀 이해할 수 없지만, 대신 그 가장 가까운 속뜻이 뭔지는 이해할 수 있다고 하면서, 그것은 너무도 아름답고, 그런 일련의 순서로 자기들을 깊이 감동, 감명케 한다고, 그것은 영광이라고 가슴 벅차게 말하는 것이었습니다. Certain ones were taken up to the first entrance court of heaven, when I was reading the Word, and from there conversed with me. They said they could not there understand one whit of any word or letter therein, but only what was signified in the nearest interior sense, which they declared to be so beautiful, in such order of sequence, and so affecting them, that they called it glory.
