사람과 더불어 교회가 있었던 곳에 갈망(渴望, yearnings, 욕구, 욕망, appetites)이 일어나 사람과 교회를 다스리기 시작했습니다. 이 갈망이 바로 ‘딸들’입니다. 그들은 또한 신앙의 가르침들과 자신들의 갈망을 단단히 묶어, 그 결과, 자기들이 악과 거짓 가운데 있음을 확실히 했습니다. 이것을 ‘하나님의 아들들이 사람의 딸들의 아름다움을 보고 자기들이 좋아하는 모든 여자를 아내로 삼는지라’라고 표현하신 것입니다. (1-2절) That with man, where the church was, yearnings—which are the “daughters”—began to reign. Also that they conjoined the doctrinal things of faith with their yearnings, and thus confirmed themselves in evils and falsities, which is signified by “the sons of God taking to themselves wives of the daughters of man” (verses 1–2).
