정신과 의식(mind and disposition)에 속하는 것인 사람의 내면도 이와 같은 순서로 이루어져 있다. 즉 내부, 중부, 외부로 되어 있다. 사람을 지으실 때, 사람이 신적 질서의 형상이 되고, 그 결과로 가장 작은 형태의 천국이 될 수 있도록 신적 질서에 속한 모든 것을 사람 안에 갖추어 두셨기 때문이다.주37 이런 이유로, 사람은 그 내면으로는 천국과 연결되어 있다. 사후에 사람은 그가 이 세상에서 신적 선과 신적 진리를 받아들인 정도에 따라 내적, 중간, 외적 천국 중 한 곳의 천사들과 합류하게 된다. The interiors of man, which belong to his mind and disposition, are also in like order. He has an inmost, a middle, and an outmost part; for when man was created all things of Divine order were brought together in him, so that he became Divine order in form, and consequently a heaven in miniature.37 For this reason also man, as regards his interiors, has communication with the heavens and comes after death among the angels, either among those of the inmost, or of the middle, or of the outmost heaven, in accordance with his reception of Divine good and truth from the Lord during his life in the world.

 

 

주37. 신적 질서에 속한 모든 것이 사람 안에서 합쳐졌고, 즉 갖추어졌고, 그래서 사람은 형태를 띤 신적 질서로 창조되었다. All things of Divine order are brought together in man, and by creation man is Divine order in form (n. 3628, 4219, 4220, 4223, 4523, 4524, 5114, 5168, 6013, 6057, 6605, 6626, 9706, 10156, 10472). 사람 안에는, 천국 이미지를 따라 지음 받은 속 사람과, 세상 이미지를 따라 지음 받은 겉 사람이 있으며, 이것이 고대인들이 사람을 가리켜 소우주(小宇宙, a microcosm)라고 한 이유이다. In man the internal man was formed after the image of heaven, and the external after the image of the world, and this is why man was called by the ancients a microcosm (n. 3628, 4523, 5115, 6013, 6057, 9279, 9706, 10156, 10472). 그래서 사람은, 그의 내면과 관련, 가장 큰 이미지를 따라 창조된, 가장 작은 형태의 천국이며, 주님으로 말미암아 그가 새롭게 될 때, 즉 거듭나게 될 때 바로 그런 사람이 된다. Thus man in respect to his interiors is by creation a heaven in least form after the image of the greatest; and such also man becomes when he has been created anew or regenerated by the Lord (n. 911, 1900, 1928, 3624–3631, 3634, 3884, 4041, 4279, 4523, 4524, 4625, 6013, 6057, 9279, 9632).
